Pathways for Joy, Vitality & Abundance

Wise people commit to a lifelong journey of developing their mental, physical & spiritual capacity to give of their best and be happy! Within this context, living a life full of happiness, abundance and good health is much more than just the absence of mental health problems.

You are not here merely to make a living…..You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world. (Woodrow Wilson)

We value the opportunity in our work with clients to explore ways to enrich each person. Enhancing a lifetime pathway based on individual vitality & wellbeing. One of the ways to support this growth is to increase people’s knowledge around the integration of gut (body), heart (spirit) and brain (mind) health. Our gut or stomach, is directly connected to our brains through the vagus nerve. Thus physical, biological pathways directly influence our moods and behaviour.

Furthermore chemical messengers (neurotransmitters), also communicate information throughout our brain and body.

We can learn to influence these neurotransmitters in a positive way by focussing on the types of food we eat, managing stress better, improving relationships, dissolving conflicts, connecting to positive psychology practices and changing our patterns of thinking. Below are listed some of the key functions of neurotransmitters – learning to maximise these influences and thus enhance the positive potential of our mind-body-spirit connection is an extremely important investment in our own happiness.

Dopamine: energises and motivates us

Nor-Adrenaline: lifts our moods

Seratonin: calming

Endorphins: euphoria, fun, pain reduction
