It is exciting to honour the energy, athletic discipline, mental strength and emotional courage displayed by the men who combat each other in the inspiring pursuit of an AFL or NRL Grand Final Victory. Although only one team from each code can ultimately grasp the trophy of victory this coming weekend, the idealised competitiveness and passionate pursuit to conquer the opposition is a celebration of some of the harder edged aspects of masculine power. Strength, Fierceness Fearlessness, Perseverance, Endurance & Self Belief are some of the attributes on display.

As spectators of the football codes we can honour and enjoy the controlled release and fluid mastery of these skills of leadership and power, embodied so courageously in the cauldron of a Grand Final Match. However the deeper lesson for leadership in life, goes way beyond just the harnessing of masculine power in a worthy sporting pursuit.

The true winner in the Leadership Journey of Life, is the person who has integrated the harder edged aspects of masculine power with the softer, deeply resonant flow of feminine energy. This is not a gender question, rather it is a personal development and mental growth challenge, so that an individual, (both men & women) in any leadership role is willing to learn to be advanced enough in understanding their own personal power, that they can embody both the masculine action focus integrated within the feminine wisdom process.
